Hi there guys,

I need some help with this.

I use a computer that runs on windows 7 64 bits.

I work using inventor 2010. Sometimes, the program doesn’t wasn't to start and shows me this error.

I tried to restart the computer, but I still get the same error message.

However, a friend of mine was able to install it to his computer without any problem. So, is there a way to repair this?

Thank you very much for your help.

Hello Grace,

Probably your software is designed in windows 7 32bit. Here’s my suggestion.

Uninstall the software,

Reinstall by right clicking the installer file (setup.exe) and choose “Run as administrator”

Once installed, right click on the shortcut and choose open file location.

Right click on the targeted file (the “.exe” file) then choose properties, then choose “compatibility” tab check “Run this program in compatibility for” in a dropdown menu choose at least Windows XP 2 or 3. In the bottom, check “run as administrator” Hope it helps.
