Problem Using with Winamp Player

I have used Winamp in a long time but it's only now that I've had problems with it. I was opening a .MOD video through Winamp, then this error suddenly pops out:

Module Plug-in Error

Corrupt file or unsupported module type.

OK

I'm not sure if my file is broken or if I just needing to install any plugin to play the file?

I appreciate your help,

Chad

Load some music files into your playlist and start playing some music. Installing DirectX; doing these two things (especially the first) will fix 99% of problems. For this plugin, you will also want to choose Maximum Framerates that divide evenly. If there is an error, it will display an error message in the upper-right corner.

Hi Stephen Vanness

Try these solutions

1.   Go to general preferences in winamp

(Winamp, ctrl +P)

Then select Playlist

Inside the middle box, make sure it has “mp3” as an extension file. (Default is “MP3”)

    2. Reinstall the winamp

Hope above mentioned solutions will rectify your problem

Thanks & Regards
