Hey Wendell!

There might be many reasons if your sound is full and you are not able to hear any sound.

Following are the possible solutions to these problems

1.   Make sure that your sound is not muted. Click on the small speaker in the system tray (in lower right corner) and unmute it if it is muted.

2.   Check out whether your sound card drivers are not supported.

3.   Got Start>Run and type devmgmt.msc and press enter, it will show you whether your sound card drivers are properly installed or not.

4.   Go to Control panel>Administrative Tools>Component services. When you click on it a separate window will open, on the right pane click on the service (Local) and scroll down to windows audio service, make sure that this service is ENABLE.

 5. Use the external head phone to Check your sound, if you are failing to hear any sound, there might be a problem with your hardware.

Thanks

Hi there ,

It seems you are having trouble with the sounds . It seems your sound driver is corrupted or having trouble.

Find the CD that came with your PC and then install your Audio driver by going to Start and then Control Panel and then add or remove programs (Windows XP ) or programs and features (Windows 7) and then install your Audio Driver and from that CD install it.

If that hasn't worked check your Motherboard model number by :-

1. Go to run by clicking start or for shortcut press Win key + r

2. In the Window that appears type dxdiag and press enter .

3. When it prompts click yes and then a box appears.

4. There you can see all the details regarding your Motherboard.

Now copy paste the model number and paste it in google.com and also type download Audio driver for this and then download the Audio driver and then install it.

Thanks, Tunacao_Caaron1. I checked my audio driver using your steps. Go to Start>Run and type devmgmt.msc and press enter. I found out that my audio device manager is not installed correclty. I searched the device manager and uninstalled the audio driver. I downloaded my audio driver by simply searching in Google.

Thanks!

Have you checked if the driver for your sound card is updated? Just go to your Device Manager and right-click on your sound card and select Update Driver. If there is an available update, it will automatically update your sound card to the most recent version. You can also do it manually by visiting the sound card manufacturer's website and downloading the latest driver version for it.
