Hi friends,

when I try to run dynamsoft SCM – VSPackage register(hosted) in order to enable SCM.

I get this error message.

Dynamsoft SCM Anywhere Hosted
Error occurred while launching "D:Program FilesDynamsoftSCM
Anywhere Hosted ClientRegPkg.exe"".Error Message:The requested
operation requires elevation.

I have tried using it in Windows 7 and windows vista. But the same problem persists.

Please help me find a solution to this problem.

Thank you.

Hi Mathew,

This should be a permission issue. You can right-click VSPackage register, choose

"Run as administrator" and try again.

I’m not sure if you really have an incompatibility issue with your operating system since all of the operating systems where you’ve tried it are supported. Dynamsoft SCM Anywhere™ Hosted works on Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 32-bit or 64-bit, Windows Server 2008 32-bit or 64-bit, Windows XP Service Pack 2 32-bit or 64-bit, Windows Vista Service Pack 1 32-bit or 64-bit, and Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit.

And also be sure to install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 or later for the software to work. If you don’t have this component yet on your system then this is probably what’s causing the problem. Just install it then try the software again. Or maybe you are using an older version of the product. If this is the case, try upgrading to Dynamsoft SCM Anywhere™ Hosted 2.3 which you can download from Dynamsoft™ | Version 2.3 Downloads.
