Hi,

I received this unknown error message while using Glimmer Blocker and experienced this nonsense error saying “Problem performing the request

Try deactivate and reactivate Glimmer Blocker”. I have tried to deactivate and reactivate but the problem exists. Help me! Thanks

Problem performing the request using Glimmer Blocker

Re-install GlimmerBlocker. You will get a pop up with options that looks like the below image.
 
Select the below options:
  1. Select Forever (to permit GlimmerBlocker network access after restarting your mac and after deactivation/activation of GlimmerBlocker) 
  2. Select Any Connection (enables you to browse all websites. After installation, GlimmerBlocker downloads default filters, it's highly probable that the first permission dialog has "glimmerblocker.org" as host. Restricting to port 80 does not work some sites use e.g. port 8080)
  3. Click Allow
