Have you installed any programs on your computer lately?
For instance antivirus programs, games or any other program.
If you have then these programs might be taking a lot of your memory space, hence slowing down the execution of your system.
You will be required to run the system restore utility to remove these programs.
The other possible cause may be that your system has been infected by a virus, a case which will require that you perform a full scan with an updated strong antivirus so as to trace any viruses and malware and remove them.
