Hello

I have downloaded an international version of Windows Server 2008 RC0 (e.g., French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese).

To enable the Windows Server virtualization task when I try to run the .MSU files, I get the following error message:

This update does not apply to your system.

I need a solution.

Please help.

Thanks a lot.

Dear Shanninfortuno

Here are some steps and reasons why you are getting this error.

Reason:

You did not meet necessary requirements of the application.

Solution:

Check your system you have met the necessary requirements. If there is no problem with the requirements reinstall the application or download it from another provider.

Reason:

The installer that you got is corrupter or it had a problem while you are downloading it.

Solution:

Check the size of the file before downloading it, and checked that file that you have downloaded.

If the file size is different download the file again.

If the problem is still there do the following solutions below.

1. Confirm you have downloaded the real application or the correct version of it.

2. Download the correct version that will support file that you need to open. Here is the version that supports the file that you want to open.

a. Microsoft Download Center

Now run the file that you downloaded and the problem that you are having will be solved.

Good luck.
