Problem With Downloading Avira Antivirus

I am trying to download AVIRA antivirus on my computer. I have been on this for six hours now. Two years ago I have subscribed to the three-year plan. However, every time I use the activation code I got two years ago, it tells me that the code I entered was incorrect. When I tried to download the application which took me almost two hours, the website showed that I haven't purchased the antivirus program yet. I tried to download it twice which took about an hour on each download, but it does not download at all. Malwarebytes has already been disabled on the system as what was recommended. The computer has no other virus protection program installed. I have wasted a lot of my time downloading this software. I also  wasted $90 on a useless product. Right now, I am currently dissatisfied with the download process for Avira. I am very disappointed but am still hoping there is someone who can provide a solution to this problem.

From where did you buy the antivirus 3 years ago?

Did it work then?

Have you posted a complaint to it at the avira forums?

I have a clue you need the old software downloaded and installed without the license key as a trial pack. Then you try to register. And after that you need to update the virus definitions and the engine.

What was the validity time of the product you brought 3 years ago? It happens sometimes that you have got it for 2 years subscription and then you need to renew it. If this has happened then you have to re subscribe it.
