Printer says is low on cartridge when I just bought new one

Why is my printer saying that my print cartridge is low on ink when I just bought a new cartridge? My inkjet printer cartridge ink finish recently and I replace it with a new cartridge and the printer is complaining of low cartridge. Now the printer is no more printing saying no ink in the cartridge and am sure there is still plenty of ink inside. How can I fix this problem?

Printer says is low on cartridge when I just bought new one

In most cases, printer cartridges and toners has a plastic tab that needs to be tear off before installing it inside the printer. You would notice this if there is a plastic or tab that extends from the cartridge you are using or have installed. If your cartridge still has this tab, take off the cartridges and tear off the plastic tab. The purpose of the plastic tab is to protect the cartridge from drying while it is yet to be used.
