MY PRINTER status is always offline… I already change its properties to printer online status but it's still offline.
Can somebody help me fix this prob. thanks..

I encountered that kind of problem with my printer. This kind of problem usually comes out when you replace another printer item to your pc. What I did is, I open the properties of my hardware.
Following are the instructions:
1. In Start Menu select Control Panel
2. Select Printers and Other Hardware
3. Select Printer and Faxes
4. right click select properties on your existing printer installed
5. Select Properties
6. In the Menu select Port
7. Check your printer port location
8. try to find if there's an existing port which is the location of your printer
9. Select another existing port
10. Go back and right click printer again
11. select printer online
Print a sample document if the printer works properly.
These are just basic troubleshooting… hope this could help…
Your printer always being offline could be caused by a number of things; first, you need to make sure that the USB port at the back of your computer is working properly. Connect the printer cable on a different USB and see whether there will be any change. Second, if after connecting the printer cable on another port doesn’t resolve the issue, try using a different printer cable (preferably a high speed USB printer cable) could be the solution. Third, if all this doesn’t work, try re-installing the printer software and drivers again and see whether the issue will disappear. I hope this is helpful. Regards
