Printer Error: An unknown error occurred while printing.
I am on the first day on my office and I am printing a word document as my first report on the job.
We are connected into one computer with one printer connected on it and shared on the network.
Before this, I have already printed one document from the shared drive.
It was just happened that at this time the error occurs.
Any help please.

You have mentioned that you are connected into a shared printer over the network. I assumed that you are also printing on the same case. You are printing with the printer connected on the other computer shared on your local area network.
On that error message we can’t really pin point what is the exact error. But as what you have described on your set-up, it looks like you are printing remotely to the shared computer. You have also mentioned that before, you have printed a document from the shared drive. It looks like you have disconnected your connection to the network drive.
By deleting all of your network connection in command prompt using the “net use * /de” command will delete all the Network resources you are sharing in. The computer is expecting that you are connected to the printer that’s why during the printing process it displays error message because the computer cannot send the printer command to the printer since it was already disconnected.
Solution for this is just browse the computer where you are connecting for the printer. Just browse its network drives or shared resources. If it prompts you for a user name and password just supply it and ask from the admin for this if you don’t have the knowledge. This will refresh all your connection to that machine so that you will be able to access its resources once again.
In this way, your problem will be solved
