I have a 2 GB home video shot on my Camcoder. I own a MAC. Please suggest how to shrink a movie on Mac and still keeping a reasonable quality. I would like to try freeware, if any available. Being a newbie into MAC doesn't help at all. I would appreciate any help from experienced MAC users.Â

If you want to shrink a video and keeping it in a reasonable quality, try VLC Media Player. It is a Media Player and a converter at the same time.
