Paintshop Pro X7 Ultimate has three-tabbed interface concept, with a Manage mode for organizing photos, Adịust mode for tidier result and Edit mode for layer-based editing are all good. In reality, it fell short. The Adjust and Edit tabs have a raw processing engine and have no relation to the other. The one in Edit mode is not fulfilling, with just a basic control and not so good results. Although the one in Adjust mode provides better result, but still not nearly as good on Photoshop Elements’ sublime Raw Processing. It could not automatically adjust distorted captured images, which is a major problem for owners of Micro Four Thirds cameras and various others. Paintshop Pro X7 Ultimate is good for non-pro users as many reviewers would say.

Adobe Photoshop is used by everyone not just by professionals but also by home users who want to change something on their photo or any image. It can easily be learned as lots of tutorials can be found on the internet. Unlike before when Adobe still offers Photoshop on a per license basis where you pay a one-time fee to purchase a license, now with their Photoshop CC, the software is now on a per subscription basis.

No more purchasing of license. You pay and use it on demand while your subscription is active. With PaintShop Pro, it is still being offered by buying a license and not subscription. This means your copy will stay with you forever and you can use it for as long as you need it. If you want to try PaintShop Pro, you can buy the latest.

Check out PaintShop Pro Ultimate. A full copy is priced at $49.99 while upgrade is at $39.99. The latest version at the moment supports 64-bit Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10. 32-bit Microsoft Windows are no longer supported.
