Hi, I am facing a issue in outlook while using attachments. Outlook is working fine since a year and I know the basic of outlook as such. The situation is this: Whenever there are multiple attachments in the mail which I am composing, I cannot reorder the files. If I cut a file so that I can paste in a different location in the compose mail window, entire outlook hangs, it tries to restart after manually trying to close and then it takes about 10 minutes or so and tells that there was an error and I have perform the mail action again. What might b causing this problem?

I don’t understand why you need to cut or split a file when you only want it as attachment or you will send it as attachment. I am also using Microsoft Office Outlook prior to shifting to Mozilla Thunderbird and I know when you attach a file or files it stays as attachment and will not appear on any location on the Compose screen.

The file or files are only selected as you compose your message and will only be processed when the actual sending of the email takes place. When the message is sent, it will go to your Sent folder and the attachment is displayed at the bottom of the message available for downloading by the receiver. You cannot copy and paste a file literally on the message you are composing.

If you want to mention the name of the file you attached to your message, copy only its name or its file name but not the actual file itself. That’s ridiculous. If you want to arrange your attachments, in case you have multiple attachments, add a number to their file name. If you are having problems with Microsoft Office Outlook, go try Mozilla Thunderbird Email Client.
