Outlook does not run during computer startup or web access

My computer has developed a problem with Outlook. It suddenly or automatically opens when I leave the computer running yet I never had it configured since I don’t need it. However, it does not start during startup of the computer or during web access. This happened several times and I would be happy to find a solution to this problem. All my efforts to stop this from occurring have failed. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Well, there might be some changes that you made to the computer that are causing outlook to behave that way, and the way to get outlook to start working properly will be to remove those changes as follows:

  • On your computer click on start;
  • And then type system restore in the search box.
  • Press Enter on your keyboard to open system restore.
  • Click Next.
  • Specify the time that you want to restore the system to; It should be a time before you started getting that problem.
  • Let the restoration process finish.
  • The computer will restart, see if outlook starts too.

Hello Tricia,

I am sure this is really a kind disgusting problem. The fact is sometimes it happens because of some wired displacement in the internal codes of office problems like once in case of powerpoint the same problem happened to me. I just uninstalled the office package and reinstalled that, than that was working fine, but finally I understood that it was a virus. So did you checked for virus! It that’s ok than just run a registry cleaner and finally you can use a tool called “fix it”. This would help you to overcome the problem for sure.
