Optimization tool and its role in computer
Piriform developed an optimization tool that is very useful in cleaning your Windows PC. It can remove unused and temporary files from your system allowing Windows to run faster. In Windows, it removes files under the following:
Internet explorer
-
Temporary Internet Files
-
Cookies
-
History
-
Recent Typed URLs
-
Index.dat files
-
Last Download Location
Windows Explorer
-
Recent Documents
-
Run (in Start Menu)
-
Other Explorer MRUs
-
Thumbmail Cache
System
-
Empty Recycle Bin
-
Temporary Files
-
Clipboard
-
Memory Dumps
-
Chkdsk File Fragments
-
Windows Log Files
Moreover, it also removes and cleans application from Firefox/Mozilla, Safari, Google chrome and from the system registry. In running the CCleaner, first it analyzes how much data to be cleaned and removed from your system and when the analysis is done, running the cleaner removes all clutter thus leaving your PC with more disk space further making it run faster. I can attest that this is a trusted software since I, myself is a user ever since I own a PC.
This is also user friendly and is easy to download. On the other hand, I don’t see any disadvantage from this tool.
