I am using Windows Server 2008 but NPC (Network policy server) not log successful or failed authentication events in event viewer in Windows Server 2008. Please send me the tutorial how to configure and resolve this problem.

This behavior occurs even though Event Viewer is configured correctly to log such events.
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
   Click Start and type cmd in the Start Search box, right-click cmd in the Programs list, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password , type the password, or click Continue.
At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press enter
auditpol /set /subcategory:"Network Policy Server" /success:enable /failure:enable
