In the latest Android Pie, the guaranteed feature was the smart screen rotation. However, in my android device, even after updating the launcher, I am not able to use the smart screen rotation. Could this be a software issue or does my phone not support the option? Should I wait for further updates?
Smart Screen Rotation allows you to rotate a particular screen based on your convenience. The previous versions had an option to auto-rotate the screen once toggled on, but, it would turn all the screens to horizontal or vertical based on the position. However, with the smart screen rotation, you can rotate a particular screen. If you are not able to use the smart screen rotation, there is a basic troubleshooting step. You need to go to the settings menu. Then, search for the auto-rotate button. If that is on, toggle it to off. Then go to any other screen to test the all-new smart screen rotation feature.
