I have used widget commands to download Ubuntu full dvd version 11.10 and it’s about 1.5 GB. So far I came to know that the file was downloaded completely. When I go for burning dvd, I can’t do that. I checked my disk with tools (error checking). In the splash file, it got an error.
Can anyone please help me to recover my download?

You can easily solve it, but you can use the Nero burn software. Nero burn software being the most good values to take effect is a burning software. so you can use it.

The problem is with the tool that you are using to burn the DVD. You can download few DVD burner from the internet and use them or you can purchase Nero Burning tools. In both cases please make sure you are burning the folder as data disk. This disk won't be bootable. If you want to create bootable disk, please download Ubuntu from their website and download the DVD image.
