I Have just got the news that Nokia Lumia 900, 610 is available now in Australia.
When they will be available in India?

The release of Nokia Lumia 900 and Nokia Lumia 610 will be delayed. But the Nokia expected a release in June, but some technical delays cause the release change to Q3 2012, it will be about September.
Its bad thing for Nokia since others release their phones in the market this time. In a spec sensitive market like in India, Nokia has to complete with these devices with its low spec Lumia 900. Hope Nokia prices these devices aggressively.
And a good news is that Nokia has announced the Music Service is coming to lumia windows device soon.
For Nokia, Lumia is the mobile which gives an entry for advanced smartphones section. They can't be this lazy about a phone like this.
But now Nokia assures the release will be in Q3 of 2012. Let us hope for a good smartphone.

Nokia Lumia 900, 610 in India?
Nokia is getting ready to launch Lumia 900 and 610 in the Third Quarter of 2012 which was earlier slated to be released in June 2012. You can check out the specification here.
Nokia Lumia 900 which comes with Windows 7 is placed well at INR 28000 when compared to the android counterparts like HTC One X, Sony Xperia S, Samsung galaxy S3 which at priced above INR 33000.
However, Lumia 610 is billed at INR 11000, although, it was expected to be in the INR 7000 – 8000 range.
Nokia Lumia has Carl Optics with a larger aperture and focal length of 28mm for captivating great shots even in inferior lighting environment settings.
It also enables video calling with an additional camera. It has impressive social networking element, EA games through XBOX live, and many more such features which are substantial.

The Nokia Lumia 610 is a 3G Smartphone operating on 2G and 3G network bands using GSM and HSPA. It was announced to the public on February 2012 and released on April 2012 measuring 119 x 62 x 12 millimeters and weighing 131.5 grams. It uses micro-SIM card. It has TFT capacitive touchscreen display with 65K colors at 480 x 800 pixels screen resolution.
It supports multi-touch and ships with Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango powered by Qualcomm MSM7227A Snapdragon S1 chipset, 800 MHz ARM Cortex-A5 processor, and Adreno 200 GPU. It doesn’t support microSD. It runs on a much lower 256 MB RAM with 8 GB internal storage. The primary camera supports 5 megapixels with LED flash, autofocus, geo-tagging, and face detection.
It supports 480p video recording at 30 fps. No secondary camera is supported. It has 3.5-millimeter jack featuring active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and EDR support, GPS with A-GPS support, stereo FM radio with RDS support, and microUSB 2.0. It has built-in compass, accelerometer, and proximity sensors. The pre-installed web browser supports HTML5.
It doesn’t support Java. It runs on removable BP-3L Li-Ion 1300 mAh battery with standby time up to 670 hours on 2G and 720 hours on 3G. Talk time is up to 10 hours 30 minutes on 2G and 9 hours 30 minutes on 3G. It is available in White, Cyan, Magenta, and Black colors.

It supports 720p video recording at 30 fps. The secondary camera supports 1 megapixel and supports VGA video recording at 15 fps. It has 3.5-millimeter jack featuring active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and EDR support, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS support, stereo FM radio with RDS support, and microUSB 2.0.
It has built-in accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass sensors. The pre-installed web browser supports HTML5. Java is not supported. It runs on non-removable BP-6EW Li-Ion 1830 mAh battery with standby time up to 300 hours both on 2G and 3G. Talk time is up to 7 hours both on 2G and 3G. It is available in Black, Cyan, White, and Magenta colors.
