I have updated my phone in to IOS7 now I don't have a way to turn on both Bluetooth and WI-FI. Some of the menu options in settings are grayed out.  What should I do ?

Hi John,

You should try to reboot your iPhone as well as your router, although it is unlikely to permanently fix the problem. Some of the other solutions you can try to fix this problem include:

1. Removing an apostrophe from your iPhone’s name, that is if it has one. Go to Settings > General > About > Name and change it to something that has no apostrophe.

2. Put your iPhone into Airplane mode and then go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings, even though the problem may come back.

3. Try going to Settings > Control Center and then disable the Access on Lock Screen and turn your iPhone on and off again.

4. Ensure that your router firmware is the current one.

5. Back up your iPhone and then restore it.

If nothing none of the above options work, try to contact Apple or take your iPhone to an Apple Store near you.

Hello John,

You might try these following steps:

1. Make sure that Airplane Mode is off.

2. Reset your network settings by ‘Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network settings.

This will reset all your network settings including Wi-Fi passwords, Bluetooth pairing record, VPN and APN settings.

I hope will help you to solve your problem.

Regards,

Martine Paul
