Hi Kath,

It seems you have a big problem right now because you computer is very obsolete. Pentium 3 was out before 1999 its 13 years before. Actually we still that parts here the PC 133 RAM for the pentium 3 processor because we have a lot of surplus here in the Philippines. You can always upgrade your PC anytime you want but i suggest to buy a new one that is updated and has a lot of parts available in the market. Outdated PC should not be use this time because of it's limited functions for example  viewing youtube videos, planning online games etc. Look and search to the internet for the latest hardware and assembled it, right now the latest processor is 5 giga byte and the ram is 4giga byte, comparing to your old one which is very slow.

Thanks,

A Pentium 3 CPU is kind of old to still run apps nowadays and I’m not sure if you can still find shops that sell parts for this type. Here, I was still able to find shops that sell very old units like Pentium 1 and they run pretty well on Windows 95 until Windows XP though when I hit Windows XP it performed a lot slower.

Memory modules for old models like yours are no longer sold in computer stores. Your best option is to find stores that sell second hand parts. When you do find one, the most important thing to do is check if it is working and ask them if you can return it in case you find a problem.

With my experience in buying second hand parts, problems usually arise when you start using them. One example is the memory module I bought years ago for my Pentium 1 CPU. It worked when it was tested on the store as well as when I got home and connected it on my computer. The problem started after playing a game.

In the game “Age of Empires 2,” there is a particular part or location in the map that, when I bring my troops there, the game suddenly crashes. I tried it several times to see if the error was a glitch but the problem is constant. When I returned the memory module to the store and they replaced it, the game is working as normal again.

The game no longer crashes when I bring my troops on that particular spot in the map.
