Nexus 5 WiFi connectivity issues on android lollipop.

I recently updated my Nexus 5 to android lollipop which of course is the latest version released by Google. WiFi used to connect with my device without any problems. But after updating my phone, I am having a lot of issues with WiFi connectivity. How can I resolve this issue? Is this a problem with all android lollipop updated phones? Please help.

This is a known issue for Nexus 5 and other Nexus device after the update to Android Lollipop version. A lot of users reported this and most probably will be fixed on Google next update what you can do to fix the issue by yourself is try to have your phone forget the network by long – pressing on the WI-Fi network list then choose forget network, then reconnect. If that doesn't resolved the issue performing a factory reset can do the trick by doing the steps below:
