Windows Live Mesh: New people can’t sign in error

Hi folks and friends,

I am posting here an image of an error message. I encountered this error message when I signed on to Windows Live Mesh.

Sorry, new people can’t sign in to

Windows Live Mesh right now

Please try again in a few days.

When I read the instructions on the error message, it tells me to check my internet connection.  As I am checking my internet connection, there is nothing wrong with my connection.

I also check on my firewall, there is no restriction on the connection for Windows Live Mesh.

This makes me wonder what other reasons could lead to this error.  

Please help me find solution to my problem.

There is a simple possible solution for you, just try this.

Hope it will works.

Solution: Add Messenger servers, to your exception list.

  1. Click on Start  / Control Panel  / Internet options.
  2. Then click on Zones tab.
  3. Then click on trusted sites and click on Sites button.
  4. Add following entry in the list of trusted sites: https://*.contacts.msn.com
  5. Then click on OK then click on connections tab.
  6. Then click on LAN settings button. If the Advanced button is active, then click it and add *.contacts.msn.com
  7. Then click on OK.
  8. Retry to sign in to Windows live Mesh.
