With new ADSL connection, my laptop been shutdown please, help…..
Hi,
I think the main problem is in your ADSL connection cable or connector. You already checked USB modem and laptop battery and also laptop power adaptor. And you found there is no problem. So it is more possibility that you may have problem in ADSL cable. May be it has damaged. It is also possible that you may have problem with connector. May be cable is not connect with it properly or some pin of connector is broken. That’s why laptop getting wrong signal and forced to shutdown.
You may also have problem with LAN port or LAN card. In this case check it perfectly from any service center.
With new ADSL connection, my laptop been shutdown please, help…..
Connecting the Ethernet cable may not have anything to do with it, perhaps the battery was dislodged a bit while you were connecting the Ethernet cable or the charger was dislodged. Since both the battery and the charger are working ok after, and assuming there is no other problems observed on the computer, then that was just an accident and does not really mean there is a hardware failure or a software corruption in your computer. Ethernet cables or such kinds of connections don’t have the capability of shutting computers down unless it is intentionally done through network access to the system.
