Hey, I just tried my new burner(LG GSA-H42N) and new media (TY DVD-R 8x's) to burn some data DVD's to back up my stuff before i reformat my computer, and its the first disk i tried burning with this combo, so i want to know where exactly my mistake came from.

I just installed Nero 7, and i keep getting this NMIndexStoreSvr.exe since that happened, so i'm kind of wondering if you guys could tell me what my problem is.

Hi Kent!

Here the main problem should be with the disc you are trying to burn or the driver as indicated in the error and the software.

You need to reinstall the driver.

The most obvious problem may also be with the software, you need to go to the registry; Start > Run > reg edit

in the registry editor, delete and change some information under; HKEY_CURRENT_USER_SoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersion

Once you change those settings, it should work. If it does not, you can uninstall and install a supported Nero software and restart your system.

It should work.
