My friend from overseas is having a little problem with the game he is playing. His game is different from mine but both our games use GameGuard. Luckily I don’t see that error on my game. Whenever he plays his game, after a few minutes of playing the game starts showing problems in the movement of the character.

About GameGuard error code “1015”, this error is related to both GameGuard and animations but mostly with animation. Another variant of this error is error code “905” also related to GameGuard and the in-game animations. To fix the problem, first, make sure the client or the game launcher is functioning properly or you can start and exit the game successfully.

Next, open Windows Explorer then navigate to the game’s installation folder then look for the GameGuard folder and delete it. Once the folder is deleted, start the game launcher then wait until it downloads GameGuard completely. If the client doesn’t update or download GameGuard, click “Check Files” so the game launcher will check for missing files and download them again.

Once updating is complete or GameGuard has been downloaded, start the game then see if the error appears again. If the problem continues, uninstall and reinstall the game. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select the affected game among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process.

When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, exit Revo Uninstaller then install the game back or download the game client again.
