Need a graphics card for entry level gaming

I am new in the world of gaming. So i don't know which graphics card to choose to play new games. So I need some help buying my new Graphics card for gaming use only.

Hi Alfredo,

I understand that you are new in the world of gaming and you need some help in buying a new graphics card. Certainly, I can help you with that. Since this is some sort of an upgrade, the first thing that I would like you to check is the motherboard of the PC. 

 

First, Search on the model of the motherboard via internet or simply look at the manual.

 

Second, Check on its specification. In order for you to know the appropriate graphics card to you use. You must check on the Category "Expansion Slots".

 

example: Expansion Slots 5 x PCIe 2.0 x16 Supports single at x16, dual at x16, triple at x 16 x16 x8, quad x8, or 5 x8

1 x PCI 2.2 

 

Third, Check on the games minimum/recommended system requirements. If you're going to ask me, I would like you to have the recommended settings for you to enjoy the game.

 

Fourth, Decide on what graphics card to use. Consider brands and models. Preferably, I would recommend something form ATI or NVIDIA.

Need a graphics card for entry level gaming

Genebraldo Regio. Hi,

Welcome to the gaming world. There are many gaming VGA in market site, mostly Nvidia, Gigabite etc. I think, as a beginner, you can use Nvidia GTS 250 and GTS 450.

You should have PCI E x16 port supported motherboard and minimum Dual core processor. 2 GB Ram.
