Hello,

You could have mentioned the size of RAM available with your PC in the query. The issue can be because of any of the following points.

  1. After your PC is re-booted, open the task manger by typing ALT+CTRL+DEL. Go to Processes Tab.  Arrange the programs based on the memory usage by clicking on Memory tab. The process which consumes the maximum memory will be displayed on the top of the list. If it is an installed program, you can try uninstalling this program and this will solve the issue. If it is not installed software, Kill this process and work again. This is a temporary solution. But if you can find out which program uses this process, find it out and make arrangements to delete it.
  2. Some Virus attack happened to your PC. Either scan your system thoroughly or please completely format your system (all drives) and re-install Windows again and check out.

Cheers,

Missy.

I have check on Task Manager and I found this one DATAMN ~ 1.EXE , but my friend that just part of a software package. I think I agree with you to kill this process because I need more memory. Thanks a lot  Missy1

Hello Dear,

It is not problem with RAM, because RAM is loading properly, as you said that RAM was 70% in use.

It is due to unreadable parameters of a file that is stored on your hard disk that you are trying to open.

Run the defragment utility on all drives of your hard disk, then your problem will be solved.

Click on the start button, go to “all programs”, then choose “Accessories” and click on “system tools”.

In “system tools”, choose “Disk Defragament”.

It will take some time, and will fix your problem.

I hope you understand the problem and how to fix it.

Thanks.
