My pc cannot find the network path

Recently I bought a new computer. I didn't get enough time to operate my PC. I went abroad for business purpose and when I returned home and turned on my PC to work on the internet, my PC cannot find the network path successfully.

It shows an error, "Windows cannot access error code: 0x80070035 the network path not found".

I am sure that I connected Netgear WG311T PCI wireless adapter to my PC. Its a Vista operating system, that I am using now. I use Norton 360 Antivirus .

I am not familiar with this problem. I think it is a major error and  have no idea about what to do.

Need your help.

Dear,

Error message “windows cannot access error code: 0x80070035 the network path not found” relate to Norton 360 antivirus firewall and there is no fault in your system or your Netgear WG311T PCI wireless adapted or Internet Connection.

Solution for your problem is very simple and you have to do just two steps:

1. Under firewall settings you should disable personal firewall.

2. Restart your system and enjoy internet.

Now you can set your permissions and create network path accordingly.

Cheers

Kelin

Hi,
  • Turn off any firewalls for debugging. If the firewall is the problem, you'll have to configure it, to allow access to "trusted zone" addresses.
  •
  • Note that some firewalls must be completely uninstalled to stop them from affecting your networking.
  •
  • PING computer by IP address, and if successful, PING by name. You can obtain the IP address of a computer, by opening a command prompt (DOS window) and typing IPCONFIG. This should work for any Windows version.
A failure here needs to be corrected before you go any further.
Hope this helps solve your problem.
Steven
