Hi guys,

My OpenOffice.org 2.2 has encountered an internal error. It is frequently throwing the error message while starting it. Have a look at the error message below. It has stopped working throwing this simple error message.

How can I get a remedy of this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Martin,

You will need to try resetting your profile as follows:

The data that is user-related is usually in a dedicated folder, called user profile, and therefore you will need to check its location on your HD in the menu  by going to:

  • Tools, and then Options.
  • After that go to OpenOffice.org and then Paths.
  • In the event that the folders are hidden, you will need to ensure that the  file explorer is configured to display the hidden files and folders.

Regards,

Nicke

You need to run as administrator to solve this problem. This error comes when you have no permission to write to the memory and your program does not starts then you need to login as administrator. Also check the system requirements for the program you are trying to run.
