Good Day!

My headphones can’t work on windows 8, they have previously worked on windows 7 on my PC and they function on other PCs.

Even after installing all drivers the problem persists.

I Have installed all the latest available drivers I could fine.

Has realtek developed a driver for window 8?

Please guide me.

Thank you.

If you can't hear anything from your computer, it only means that there is no soundcard installed.

If your soundcard is already connected to the CPU and its driver is already installed but you still can’t hear anything, the soundcard is installed but it is not working or it stopped functioning. This is maybe because of an incompatible driver.

Since you are using Windows 8, I think Realtek has not yet developed or upgraded a driver or its drivers compatible with it since it was only released a few months ago.

Windows 8 has still some bugs to fix like its Media Player that plays on and off. And I’m sure there are lots of applications that will not run on Windows 8 because of incompatibility issues.

If you want your drivers and applications to work normally again, replace Windows 8 with Windows 7 or other lower Windows versions.
