When I chatted on Facebook, my messages were not sent. When I pressed ENTER on the keyboard or the SEND button from the site, the cursor went to the next line and the messages were not sent. How can I solve this problem?

Try to log-out your account. Close your browser. Restart the PC. Log-in to your account and try to chat. If you can't still send messages, you may also try these solutions:

It can also be that the server of Facebook is a bit slow, or delayed.
You may try again after an hour or minutes later.

Messages are not sent because of some reasons:
1) The user to whom you are sending is offline
2) The Shift key is accidentally pressed – If you press Shift + Enter the message will not be sent. Instead, the cursor will move to the next line.

Sometime it may be just a one time issue. Just log out and log in back and the issue may go off.
