My computer's cd rom had been damaged for this reason I've bought a new cd rom but when I'm trying to set cd rom with my PC it shows an error when I'm inserting a CD into cd rom it doesn't play it.Â

Your PC's CD ROM is new but it is not working. The cause of your CD ROM's problem is for having problem in your cable. Your cable might not work perfectly. Change the cable then your problem might be solved.
If there is still problem then check your motherboards IDE port/SATAÂ port.
