MS office does not run on Windows XP or Vista. The minimum system requirement for Microsoft Office 2013 is as follows:

Regarding multi-touch – touch enabled device is required to have multi-touch function for many features to perform well. However, all the features can be used through keyboard-mouse or default input device. Remember- it incorporates enhanced touch features to be used with Windows 8.

Hi Mr. Roger,

I think there are no minimum requirements in that for now, because as I looked in the updates for the

Microsoft Office software’s the updated is the Microsoft Office 2010. We are now in 2012, I think we our developers are not developing the Microsoft Office 2013.

I am sorry to inform you that Windows XP or Vista is not capable of running MS office 2013. You will require at least Windows 7 OS.

32-bit 1 GB of RAM is the requirement for memory.

You will need at least 3 GB available memory (an initial requirement of the software is larger than the space it actually requires).

There are some features whose performance can be increased by a graphic processor.

Such features are drawing tables in Excel 2013 Preview, transitions, animations and video integration in PowerPoint 2013.

DirectX-10 compliant graphics processor with 64 MB video memory is recommended for preview.

Hello Roger Garrison,

MS Office 2013 is really Office 365 – the assimilation of rich desktop office applications and their "webified" counterparts into the "cloudified" Office 365 – now named simply Office.

MS Office 2013 is really Office 365

Based on hardware, it can run on even older systems needing only 1 GHz+ SSE2 Processor (+ means equal or higher), needs 1 GB RAM for 32-bit version (2 GB RAM for 64-bit version), 3.5 GB disk space and graphics required must have hardware acceleration, DirectX10 and 1024 x 576 resolution.

It will not run on Windows XP nor Vista as it needs Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit supported), Windows 8 (Release Preview or higher), Windows 2008R2 + with .Net 3.5 +.
