MS Access-Database cant save in earlier version error

Hi,

Yesterday I'm working on my database project. Currently I'm working on MS Access 2007 when I am trying to save my database in earlier versions like 2003. Sometimes it generates a window and database cant save in earlier version.

You cannot save database in an earlier version format, because it uses features that require the current file format.

Features that require the current file format include attachments, multi valued fields, offline data, or link to external files that are not supported by earlier version of Access.

OK

Why this window occur during the save?

Thanks,

Hi Edward,

Are you added some new features from MS office 2007 to your work?

For example, like multi-value on a table, or some attachment which only worked in office 2007.

Earlier version cannot read these new features it is incompatible with it.

So make sure that your works don't include those features.

Regards,

sylene

MS Access-Database cant save in earlier version error

Dear User,

The reason you get this error is the features and the way you have been designing your database to do not support previous versions of Access.

And in the error message, you can see that the attachments, multi-valued fields, offline data, or links are not supported by earlier versions of access.

In order to fix this you should design your database with only the features compatible with both versions of Access.

Thank you.
