To check if there's remaining space on hard drive go to My Computer and right-click Local C: and Local D: and click properties. If you see that it has minimal space or already full you can do disk clean up and disk difragmentation. These tools can be seen if you click Start Menu, Click All Programs and go to Accessories.

After the step I have shared to you and it didn't work much for you, you may need to delete some unnecessary files to allocate new files.

If still doesn't work out much, you can get an external hard drive. It's a USB device. But of course, this would be your last resort choice.

I strong suggest first to update your USB drivers. This can be done by using other 3rd party programs that can optimize the performance of the computer. Now for the checking of your available space on the hard drive you should:

Go into mycomputer(XP);Computer(Vista,Win7) then do a right click on your local disk drive"C;";then left click on properties;this should now show you how much free space you still have in your hard disk

Among the solutions, you can go for whichever you like

At first Double click on ‘My Computer’, right click over the drive that you need to look at for memory check and then press on the option properties at the lower portion of the box.

You can then get all the necessary information on the drive that you need. You need to reiterate the same steps for the next drives. You can simply copy the file in any drive if you find any free space anywhere.

Otherwise it is a recommendation to have a USB device for saving files and watching movies. Another reason for recommending it as it will reduce the cost.

Enjoy movies.
