I have a very usual problem of mobile overheating even when I don’t use it regularly. Why does this happen? Can you suggest ways to solve this problem? This even causes my battery to drain fast is this a hardware issue of my phone?

It is a very usual problem nowadays everyone undergoes overheating issues. This usually happens because the processor is under a heavy workload that is if you’re playing graphics intensive games or exporting huge files this will usually cause overheating. This usually also happens if your phone is under direct sunlight or in a hot car.

There are ways to avoid this kind of problem such as dimming the display, turning off Bluetooth, closing all running applications, turning off location service and if even needed sometimes switching off your phone for a while.

No, this usually is not referred to as a hardware issue but excess overheating may lead to hardware issue if this happens daily but not occasionally.
