Hi there,

I recently acquired an LG G2 Smartphone which indicated capacity to shoot 1080p videos, every time I try to shoot a video, it comes out with this lag between frames, making it look like a moment of slow motion lasting for a split second, it's quite annoying, I thought it was my mistake but, all my videos are having tiny moments of slow motion from time to time, what could be the possible cause for this and how can it be fixed?

The Video recording uses available free memory of the phone. I am hoping that while recording you are not moving too fast for the phone to record movement. If your phone is having 16GB memory variant then you must know that the OS installation leaves out only 10.5GB approx. This is definitely not much space for the application hungry users.  If you record HD video and store them in your phone then it is going to eat up a lot of your memory as well. HD videos are normally of very large in size. A 30 min video could capture size of around 2 GB. Go to setting to verify display and aspect ratio correction values and make sure it is unchecked for apps that are not working. Check your memory availability and usage pattern. Also ensure that your do not end up storing videos using phone memory. Transfer all multimedia content to external storage (Sd card). Ensure that not too many applications are in running stage and only applications that are being used are run. Sometimes we try to be multi-tasking without even knowing our phones capacity. Verify the FPS value follow the standard specification from the manufacturer for video capture. If the problem continues get in touch with support team as your newly purchased phone should be still covered under warranty to support any unwanted hardware failure.
