Whenever I open Mozilla Firefox, this message pops-up:

Your Firefox profile not loaded. Missing profile. How can I remove this?

Hi,

I have already gone through this problem. Please follow the steps below:

1. You should use the certain specific profile.
 
2. Say Firefox 4.0b7.
 
3. Just keep the current profile, say 3.6.
 
4. Now update the Firefox.
 
5. Download FF4. Make sure that it does not open.
 
6. Delete all private data and clean cookies and caches.
 
7. Your library should be cleaned properly.
 
8. Delete applicationssupportFirefox.
 
9. Now run this command from home directory from internal terminal:
 
  • Sudo chown –R `id – un` : `id –gn` ~
 
10. Give a try on the basis of this.

Your problem should be fixed by now.

The best way to deal with this, since you are already having problems with the browser’s used profile, is to re-install the application. I’m also a long-time user of Mozilla Firefox before and it never happened to me that the browser’s profile will cause the main problem that’s why I’m quite skeptical as to how you encountered this with your web browser. If you frequently install and uninstall plug-ins, I think it’s the number one culprit here.

The best thing to do to avoid this from happening again is to not install any plug-ins that’s not important or has a very minimal usage. If you are using an early version of the browser, upgrade it to the latest version, Mozilla Firefox 20.0. Download the latest version from Mozilla | Firefox Free Download. After downloading the latest version, uninstall your present browser then restart your computer when asked. After booting, run the installer to install Mozilla Firefox 20.0. This time don’t install any plug-ins that is not important.

Thanks buddies, well explained. Seeing this problem I was at my wit’s end what to do. It was a Herculean task for me to remove this problem. All of a sudden my mind flashed back that I fall back upon the Techyv experts and guys my concept was right. I appreciated both of your comments but I believe Sharath’s comment was the best one since I have not seen anyone who has penetrated so clearly before. Going through your comment I have come to know the root cause of the problem and following your solving system that means, downloading the latest version from your provided link, now I am able to remove my problem for good and I currently used the latest version of Mozilla Firefox. Thanks again, Sharath.
