I got an error when launching ArcSoft ShowBiz. The installation went successfully and there were no errors reported during the process. But when trying to start the application, the error below pops up. I'm not sure but I want to know if this is a missing dll issue. Please send me resolution as well.

Missing Ordinal Error on ArcSoft ShowBiz

Checking the specifications of ArcSoft ShowBiz, I don’t see any problem that will relate to compatibility issue. ArcSoft ShowBiz officially supports Windows XP Service Pack 2 and higher, x86 and x64 Windows Vista, x86 and x64 Windows 7, and Windows 8. And since I think you are using Microsoft Windows 8, you should be using only the x86 version because it doesn’t mention support for the 64-bit edition.

You should also check if you have already installed QuickTime because ArcSoft ShowBiz requires that you install this program. If you don’t have it yet on your computer, download and install the latest version from Download QuickTime 7. The amount of physical RAM your computer should have should be around 2 GB minimum.

Additionally, go to ArcSoft ShowBiz Technical Specifications to have a quick look on the requirements that your computer should meet. If you are sure all the requirements are met and the error is still there try reinstalling the program.
