Hi there,

I have the first iPad, and I want to get the new iPad. The problem is the data in my old iPad was synced with a computer that is no longer working. Can I sync my old iPad to a different computer without losing a single bit of data. I want to transfer all the data to the new iPad I will be purchasing.

Best regards,

Yes you can there will be no problem on transferring your data from the old iPad to a computer then to the new iPad that your going to buy.

Apple makes this process painless meaning its easy as one two three, thanks to itunes. You just have to click some buttons and it will be ensure that all your original ipad data, settings, apps that you installed, and games can be transferred to your new ipad accordingly.

Or you can swap your old ipad to an Apple store and they will do the transfer for you.But if your not yet ready to buy a new ipad then you just have to follow this steps on transferring data from your old ipad to itunes first.

Plug your iPad into your windows or mac computer then open your iTunes. If it doesn't sync automatically just click the sync buttons so that it will sync on your iTunes and back up your files.

Then unplug your ipad and plug the new ipad.Your itunes will ask you to register the new ipad then it will ask if you want to set up a new ipad or restore from a back up,choose restore from a back up so that all your data, settings and apps from the old ipad will be transfer to your new ipad.Just let it sync when the restore is done, you should have all the data, settings and apps on your new ipad.
