Hello Friends,

I am posting a problem, which I encountered while using Microsoft Visual Studio.

I am getting the following error message, whenever I am trying to create a new SilverLight project. I have both installed on my Windows 7 pro machine. I am stuck at this point and not sure how to proceed.

Please help.

‘Microsoft.VisualStudio.Silverlight, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral,

Microsoft Visual Studio

Method ‘SelectSilverlightProject’ in type

‘Microsoft.VisualStudio.Silverlight.SLPackage’ from assembly

‘Microsoft.VisualStudio.Silverlight, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral,

PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a’ does not have an implementation.

Hi,

Method ‘SelectSilverlightProject’ in type

Microsoft Visual Studio Error (Silverlight Package)

The above error occurred, when you first installed KB949325 and KB950632 and that is the reason why, Silverlight Project does not have implementation of public key. In order to resolve the problem, you must install KB949325 and KB950632 and Silverlight.

Kindly follow the procedures below:

1. You must remove KB949325 and KB950632:

On the control panel > Add/remove programs > Uninstall KB949325 and KB950632 and Silverlight.

2. When you uninstall the programs, please first Install Silverlight Beta2 and SP1 Beta.
