Microsoft Visual C++ error message while performing backup

I have a backup exec software installed on my machine and have been running successfully from past a year’s time.

I have it installed on my Windows 2003 SP 2 machine with no issues .

Recently I installed Microsoft Visual C++ on my machine and when I try to perform a backup activity I get an error message:

Runtime Error! Program:C:Program FilesLivreOffice3program’soffice.bin abnormal program termination

 

 

I am not sure what could be the reason for this abnormal termination of the process.

Any suggestions?

There are two reasons why the Visual C++ error will occur. Certain components of the Visual C++ might be missing. There also might be a problem with the program. There are two steps that can be taken to fix the problem.

1) You could reinstall Visual C++. If after installing the error does not go away, than you must follow step 2.

2) Clean boot must be utilized. Setting the system into the clean boot mode will help to identify any applications or items which are interrupting the system and causing the error. If updates are needed than you must contact the manufacturer or reinstall the program.
