Hi Whiz,

When I try to install Microsoft Visio Premium 2010 in the laptop, I ended up with an error message. Download went pretty well and good without any problem. While installation I got this error message. I do not have any old versions in the computer; this is the first time doing this. This error blocks me from further installation process and it allows me only to close the program. I tried several times but I get this error message at different point. Please assist me. Thanks.

Hello,

This error is hard to fix. Try the followings:

  1. Uninstall any .NET Framework installation present on your PC.
  2. Download and install latest .NET Framework 4.5.1.
  3. Run the setup.

Also, if you’re using Dell OpenManage Client Instrumentation Utility, you have to update it to the latest version. Download Dell OpenManage Client Instrumentation Utility.
