I have been using the Microsoft Publisher to print nametags for more than a year. The source data is in Access 2007 in a table. But somehow I am not able to do it anymore. I have also tried merging with the Excel file but to no use. What may be causing this error? Will I need to reinstall Microsoft Office all over again?

It is possible that your Microsoft Publisher or Microsoft Access 2007 got corrupted or a possible problem with the profile. To check if it is your profile right click on Microsoft Publisher or Microsoft Access and then choose run as administrator. If that doesn't work try to perform diagnostic on Microsoft Publisher and Microsoft Access by following the below steps:

Microsoft Publisher:
 1. Open the Help menu, then Office Diagnostics.
 2. Click Continue, then click Start Diagnostics. Any found problem will be fix by the Diagnostics.

Microsoft Access:
 1. Click the Microsoft Office Button, then click Access Options.
 2. Click Resources
 3. Click Diagnose and then Continue and click Start Diagnostics.
