Microsoft outlook could not complete the operation

I am having difficulties with my MS Outlook 2010. I am using Windows 7 64-bit on my PC. I sometimes reply to several people on email using the “Reply to All” option from my personal folder’s .pst files but am not successful. The following error message comes up: Microsoft outlook could not complete the operation. one or more parameter values are not valid.

I’ve 4 users with same problems in same notebook and OS (windows 7 64-bit)

However, I am able to move emails to the default mailbox and reply to all. Can it be a problem with the Exchange server?

Thanks.

To resolve that issue, you will need to use the workaround below:

  • On the File menu, you will need to click Exit and Log Off.
  • And then you will click the Start button, and then click Run, and then you will type exchng32.exe in the Open box, and then click OK.
  • You will then delete the Tasks folder from your mailbox, and after that you will click Exit and Log Off on the File menu.
  • Once you have done that you will need to click the Start button, and then click Run, and then type outlook /reset folders in the Open box, and then click OK.

What the method above will do is to delete and recreate the Tasks folder, but it will not affect any of the other folders on your mailbox.
