About a week ago I installed the Netscape email server on my windows 7 based laptops. Before installing Netscape my default email server was Microsoft's outlook, and it was so bad, I never used it. The problem occurred when I tried to make Netscape my default server so when an email address shows up in any browser or document and I click on it Netscape opens, but it never happens. In Netscape settings it says that Netscape is my default email server, on the other side whenever I click on any email address Microsoft outlook opens ??? Also I tried to delete MS outlook but it's impossible.

Open Internet Explorer, then go to Tools and Internet Options. Click on Programs tab and look for Email. Set Netscape email as the default email client software. Click Ok and this should set the Netscape are the default mail program. Screenshot below will give you idea on how to do it. By setting Netscape email client as default, every link you've click will open this email software right away.

There are several email client listed in the dropdown menu. If you locate the page and most likely the default selected options is still set to Microsoft Outlook. This has to be changed to your desired email client software. You will need to select Netscape email client to let you set this as your default software.
