An error message occurred – Transmit failed General Failure when I was trying to ping the network address from the Windows Operating System. What is the reason behind this error message?
The major reasons behind this error are:
• DNS issues.
• Incorrectly configured firewall.
• Network drivers not latest.
• Any other hardware or software issue.
Resolve the issue by updating the adapter driver or the modem (router). If the issue persists, try again by disabling the Windows Firewall. If even this did not help, the Last option is to restore the computer to the last known good configuration.
