Hi there,

Lync Server 2013 gives me this message and I don’t really know what it means. I know that is not working anymore with all functions and I cannot start them. Does anyone have a solution ? What I did wrong and what is limiting the capacity ?

Thank you !

Lync Server 2013

Monitoring Dashboard

Report processing stopped because too many rows in summary tables are missing in the call detail recording the LcsCDR database.

The reason for this why you are getting this error is because the SQL Server Agent service is not running because it is set to manual by default. There are many services on the computer that are being used by different programs but not all start automatically by default. This is set according to the needs of the application.

If a particular service needs to be executed only on demand then it will be set to manual by default. It will not start with the operating system. If you’ll check the SQL Server Management Studio, you will notice that the Stored Procedure is there, it’s just not running. See image.

If you will check its properties, you will see that this service is set to Manual. See image.

To fix this issue, you just need to change the “Startup type” of the service from Manual to Automatic and then click Start to start the service. See image.

Note that if you have configured an SQL Mirror, you need to do the same thing on the other server in the mirror. It also applies to SQL clustering. It should fix the problem and the error will never appear on the dashboard again because the SQL Server Agent service starts the stored procedure automatically.
